SINA Announced the Appointment of President

¡¡¡¡Shanghai, September 26, 2005 -- SINA Corporation (Nasdaq: SINA), a leading Chinese online media company and value-added information service provider, today announced the appointment of Charles Chao, formerly Co-Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, as its President and Chief Financial Officer. Concurrently, Hurst Lin, formerly Co-Chief Operating Officer, will remain as its sole Chief Operating Officer.
